i really like the masthead because it really stands out. i also like how you've named the other artists that are featured in the magazine and the photography is good aswell.
for imprivement, you could have included the price of the magazine/date/issue number
The image is quite good; the pose that your model is standing in reflects the genre and works really well. However, I don't really like the fact that the background is such a bright white; it's a bit painful on the eyes. I think it would have been better if it had a grey tint to it.
Your colour scheme works well, as the white and gold reflect the money issues that surround your genre. However, red is a colour used more on rock magazines, and I think it either needs to be used more or changed.
Your layout is especially good. The text works really well and fits around the image so that you can still read it. One thing that really stands out is the list of artists on the right-hand side. This is conventional with magazines and gives a lot of information as to what is inside the magazine.
Something that I find is an issue is the fact that there is no price or date, and it is not clear what 'MG' means, although I think 'Holla' is an appropriate word to use for this genre.
